This is the start of my new series "Artists on Display", where I put the camera on local artists, no matter how big or small. This series begins with Samaiyah Abdur-Rahman, an abstract painter whose method of creating art isn't too conventional but displays freedom and allows the paint to have a say in what it is that should be displayed on canvas. I joined Samaiyah at her home, where she was hosting a yard sale for all of her current pieces. Enjoy this amazing display of freedom in paint form.
